Is it worth getting a tankless water heater?
Yes. According to the US Department of Energy, tankless water heaters can save up to 50% of energy costs. A tankless water heater remains almost completely dormant until hot water demanded. Most tank water heaters come with a 6 year warranty, whereas a tankless water heater can come with a warranty up to 15 years. Tankless water heaters are also more compact and can be installed outdoors. This could free up space inside the house. Since there is not tank to allow contaminants to settle and rust, the water is cleaner.
Will I ever run out of hot water with a tankless water heater?
No. Unless you run out of water, fuel, and/or electricity. Unlike tank style water heaters, tankless water heaters can do not have a limited volume of cold water to convert to hot water. Not only can a tankless make instant hot water, but some models have recirculation pumps built into them. We will install a special cross-over valve inside your home to create the needed loop.
What does a tankless water heater maintenance consist of?
Most tankless water heaters require at least an annual flush and inspection. We offer a service plan that takes of this. See Protection Plans.

Can a tankless water heater be installed where my tank water heater was?
Every area a tankless is going to be installed must satisfy some requirements. A tankless will require a 120v outlet, some models will need access to the home drain system, some models will require special venting, all will require a properly sized gas pipe for fuel. There are also manufacture specifications that must be met and all applicable plumbing codes.
